Holes Have Moved And So Have We!
First, welcome to our new web domain : WWW.UpstateFrolfer.com
I did the whole wordpress thing but this will be easier to remember, and easier for you to tell your friends about!
Thanks to everyone who has checked us out so far. We’re really excited about the potential here!
Second, as promised, two baskets have moved at Timmons Park.
The newest hole, 12, is a lot better now. Instead of a straight path down the hill, it’s now a great righty hyzer to the left. I used a lefty forehand with the now-famous yellow dart this afternoon and had a birdie dink off the front of the basket. It’s a more creative basket placement now the definitely brings the creek back into play.
The other big change is on hole 14. It’s always been one of the easiest in Greenville, a little straightaway shot 125 feet across a steep ditch. Now it’s a good 35 feet longer and has at least some righty fade. Otis damn near nailed it this afternoon with a light “skeeter” hyzer.
I’m not just a fluffer for the local clubs, mind you, but again I’ll say they’ve nailed this. Great movements. Especialy on 12.
