Great Darts And Unlucky Squirrels
A couple of fairly interesting things to report from Century Park today.
First, I threw same Yellow Dart that was the impetus for the creation of this blog, right into the basket on number 9. It’s the first time I’ve aced that hole and only my third ace on that course. Otis was my witness. It was dead on and was one of those discs that you knew was in the second it left the hand. Show me a man who aced a hole and I’ll show you a man feelin’ pretty good about himself.
Otis, on the other hand, was coming of his single best day of frolf ever. He tied his career record at Timmons in the first round yesterday and then beat it in the round after that. Today, was another day. Not only did he struggle all afternoon, but then this happened on 12 :

Bad lie-- A snake has lunch next to a disc
I mean, really, Otis had a bad day. He overthrew his roadrunner there and was climbing the hill up toward the train tracks when I found this. At first, I thought it was a garbage piece of rubber. Then I yelled for Otis.
“I found it, it’s on this snake eating a rat.”
I think it was a baby squirrel on further reflection.
Fun day at the park.
This is why we frolf!
